I didn't translate the poem because I think that's difficult with poems and because I love it so much in my language.

Herbst
Ich liebe das Septembergelb,
den Morgentau auf Spinnenfäden,
das Blatt, das nichts am Baum mehr hält,
der kurze Tage stummes Reden.
Der Krähe Ruf, das Stoppelfeld –
mehr, als des Frühlings Drang und Hast,
ist es der Herbst, der zu mir passt.

Susanne, this is gorgeous! I love the symbolism of the clock and the change of the seasons, I can understand why you are hesitant to translate the poem. I read German passably well and it just loses something in the translation. German has many specific words and verbs that just don't exist in English.
