Hello, Old Friend

Hello, O Scrappy Ones! How nice to have a bit of free time this morning! I've been putting it to good use by taking a romp through the gallery, admiring everyone's work. (I should be doing chores, but who needs a clean house? It's not like a health inspector is going to make a surprise visit here! :) I mean, things aren't that bad...yet,,,)

The story behind this page is this...

While perusing the pretty pages in the gallery this morning, I noticed a pile o' layouts with a specfic photography theme, and found that they were made in response to a recent AnnaChallenge https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=24983. This challenge reminded me that I had made page a couple of years ago, a tribute page to my old and trusty Olympus OM-2M camera. That camera and I were inseperable. It was practially glued to my left hip, right up until the time digital cameras became popular. Then, my faithful film camera was shoved in the back of a closet without a secondd thought. I didn't see it or think about it for years. One day, years later, while doing some uncharacteristically deep cleaning (hey, I could be wrong about the health inspector showing up, so, yes, I am occasionally compelled to see what lurks under the couch and in the refrigerator vegetable bins and in the back of dark closets), I found my Olympus. Overcome with nostalgia, I was prompted to take a picture of it (um, with a digital camera!). I'll bet we all have an old film camera tucked away some place, right? I probably won't ever use this camera again, but I can't bear to part with it, and so back into the closet it went, to be discovered by me again in a few years, when I again feel the need to clean out the closet.
