I was in the forest very early because I had to drop Robbe off. First I came across the cuckoo, then all kinds of birds.
Because I had been on the road for at least 2 hours, I got hungry.
I thought I would sit on a bench here and eat some gingerbread but I thought I would walk a bit further because there is not much to see here.
I came to the next bench, where I followed the chiffchaff, the lapwings kept flying above me. So I still hadn't eaten (no time) and suddenly I see a bird flying in my right corner of the eye. It turned out to be the kingfisher!
I suspect it is a juvenile, because it has been left for at least 20 to 30 minutes.
It sat quietly, started making his toilet, when a lapwing came over it was shocked by the sound, especially because I noticed that it was always startled by strange bird sounds I think it was a little baby one.
It was not easy to photograph, it was in a dark bush with very bright backlight behind it.
When other people passed by chatting it flew away, but I had a fantastic moment!
