This was one of the most fun bdays I ever did for my dd. She and all the girls had "princess hats" that were just regular party hats spray-painted gold with jewels hot glued to them. Then, I poked colored tulle and ribbons out the point. Huge hit! I made a golden, jewelled crown for my newphew as well because we were also celebrating his birthday. All the boys had golden shields and jewel-encrusted gold swords as well. Quite the picture!
