The background consists of two layers. The bottom layer is a red, orange and grey urban decay paper. Above that is a blue and purple with a blend mode of Darker Color. I also used the Underlying Layer slider to determine how much the paper showed on the page.

I also used the same urban decay paper and place it over the art doll and used the Darker Color blend mode.
