Process Notes for Photoshop Elements 14
I started with Word Transfer #4 in the Artplay Palette, clipping my photo to it, and then duplicating it with a series of adjustment layers to turn it more toward greenish sepia than the original black and white.

I did the background next, putting artsy paper #4 over artsy paper #5 on linear burn mode. Into the background I blended a blowup of my photo on reduced opacity, again using a few adjustment layers to get a color/contrast that I liked.

I created the word art and then embellished it with the flocks of birds, and then finished off the layout with the threadz, button, beaded threadz, and flower. Additionally, I added a few other transfers and overlays from the artplay palette for increased texture/color, experimenting with blending masks and adjusting overlaps with layer masks.

A fill layer of color over the top evened out some of the color tones.
