Flying Fox

My take on Sara's fun challenge this month.

Flying foxes are smelly, noisy and a nuisance in urban areas but are as indispensable to the ecosystem as bees, regenerating our forests and keeping ecosystems healthy through pollination and seed dispersal.

I have never heard of a flying fox, but it looks similar to a bat? OK, I just googles it and it is a bat in AU. I learn something cool every day *grin* Love the photo and the paint and threads framing it!

He's kinda cute though. :) I'd never heard of them but now I've read up on them. I love the squiggles, blending and the florals on the side. Beautiful page that caught my eye in the gallery.
