Flamenco

The reason I love digi-scrapping (besides not having to deal with a ton of physical supplies) is that I can rescue suboptimal photos. I took several shots of this flamenco performance in Sevilla in dim light (so very hi ISO and not fast enough shutter speed), behind other audience members (so heads in the way) and crossed fingers hoping to capture the beauty of the dance. From a technical standpoint, my photos were duds, but several captured the memories and action. They also had a strong yellow stage light backlighting and orange/blue/green wall colors, which actually could be used to make striking silhouettes of the performers. I ran three photos through the Spektrel Art app (which happens to be **free** at the moment also comes with a PS plug-in) and messed with masking, blending and embellishing until I got what I wanted. (OK, that was not very specific, but details won't help anyone in this case).

I have more poor-quality photos than good, and I hear what you're saying about the blessings of digital salvation. You did a dynamite job on your salvage--the energy, vibrancy, and magic of the music all come through loud and clear. The stained-glass effect--not sure if you intended that or not--also has a very Euro vibe.
