My five year old had a really rough start with school last year with a broken arm and pins that later got infected and surgery. It was crazy! Lots of missed school and he fell behind. He was very frustrated and started acting out instead of talking to me about it, and right before Christmas break we had a good long talk and worked really hard even after school was out for the holidays. He is up to speed with the class now and feels like he can do it and that he belongs. Such a great feeling! I am so proud of him for sticking it out! Through everything!
