On our way down from Marshall Pass to Salida Inn, we saw our first fall color. As we looked at big stands of aspens, we imagined how amazing they would be just a month later, and how the summer seemed so short.
This is what happened when I headed myself toward the current color challenge. In the end I allowed my work to drift far, far from the challenge.
