Finding Yourself

This is for this weeks AnnaLift, with inspiration by sabdesbois https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?t=31344. Thank you Sabine.

I love a series of selfies that my dd took of herself when she was 15. She was growing so fast, maturing into a wonderful young girl, but I could still tell that she was trying to figure herself out wanting to grow so fast, and wanting to change her look, do new things, learn, and grow.

The Process: I began with the white paper from AP ArtLife. I added the photo frame, and attached the photo to the clipping mask. I then began dragging in individual layers from the ArtsyTransfers. I placed them under the photo frame, and modified some of their colors, to work with by red/turquoise palette. Once I had the different layers positioned, I added a few of the Layered FotoBlendz, and placed them under the frame, but on top of all other layers. Changing their blend mode to Overlay, darkened and intensified the colors and shadows just a bit. I then added a few additional Tape Textures. I added the MultiMedia Flutterby to the right edge of the photo, and modified the butterfly to be red. I added the word art, isolating just the text of the word art, I added a stroke and shadow. At this point I was done, but I didnt quite like it, so I decided to take a flattened image of the page, and scale it down. To do this, I kept a copy of the background card stock under the flattened image. Because the white cardstock had slight color variations, I blended out the edges of the flattened image so as to not have any hard lines at the edge. I ended with a few art strokes from AP ArtLift to finishe things up.
