Journaling: We decided that we wanted to go out to the tree farm this year to pick and chop our own tree. Everyone was so busy that it was the middle of December before we could go. We piled into our cars with directions in hand. We were looking forward to the fun time, but to our huge disappointment no staff was there to help us. We waited and called, but no one ever came. Knowing that this was the only day we had we piled back in our cars and headed to town. We found a tree at our local grocery story. Not the adventure that we wanted, but we still ended up with a pretty tree. Maybe well try the farm again next year.
