Journaling Reads: Soon after we married, we decided that Poway would be the place we would look to buy a home. We saved every penny, even sacraficing a big wedding, knowing that a home was more important than a large wedding. We rented first, to get a feel for our drive to work, and the town itself. We fell in love with this quaint little country town. Our realtors Barb & Joe were great at finding homes that were great for us. We found our special first home in Rancho Arbolitos. We couldnt wait for the sold sign to be put up, finally signifying it was ours. I remember how excited we were, turning the key & walking through the front door for the first time. Although we hadnt moved in furniture, we slept on the floor of our new home. I remember that September evening, and how a full moon rose up in the sky that we could view through our bedroom window. We were home owners!
