Process Notes: From the coloring found within this photo, I decided to look at the kit APP Winter Sunrise. In addition, I pulled some blues from the ArtsyTransers of both Aspera and Wish. I began with the pale blush cardstock from APP Winter Sunrise. I added the photo, first blending it unto the page. I layered the background portion of the photo, which was placed using the inverted masking technique. The lower layer photo was placed on blend mode hard light. I copies this photo, and placed it back on the blend mode normal, but reduced its opacity to 55%. I then inserted the two frames, and to that, clipped new more copies of the photo, which were left on blend mode normal. I then added numerous transfers, as well as portions of ArtsyTransfers, playing around with where they looked best in the layer stack. I added the charm, and bow (my pearl from the lifted page), and added the WordART, making it the color of the pinkish rust pulled from the photo. I then added the edge overlay, placing it on blend mode divide to make it white, and then added the WordMix text in the upper right corner, also placing it on blend mode divide, and added the paper snowflake along the right edge. I am not certain I like this addition, but I finished up by adding a black and white splatter, but changing the white to a soft, muted pink, and placing it vertically along the intersection of the photos, extending below the snowflake charm.

Thanks for looking

This is really lovely, a wonderful scene, framing, the bow and other embellishments, but I have to admit to chuckling a bit at the title from you, the so cal girl :)

I see I have to get to know blend mode "divide." Adore this shimmering page and the texture you built up under the photos as well as the extension of the photo outside of the framing.

Love how the photo extends beyond the frames! Gorgeous frosty winter page!

fantastic photo and lift. love, love the colours of transfers and brushes, they are reflecting the atmosphere of the photo perfectly. perfect ribbon and charm.

Joanne, it's absolutely beautiful. How delicate. The trees standing so tall and straight ... for undone country people, trees are planted in rows along the north side of the property to act as a snow fence .... farmers are now leaving their last rows of corn along open highways to also stop the snow from blowing across the road. The Midwest is as flat as a pancake and when winter snows start to blow ... beware! Beautiful LO
