Esperance

Thanks for the lovely inspiration, Chris!

Esperance is a deep water port on Australias southern coastline and the waters cold! Very cold! It was named by the French way back in 1792. They were sailing past as a storm was brewing and had to seek shelter. Voila! This was after that famous Englishman Captain Cook claimed Australia for the King. The French were very curious about our Great South Land. Napoleon and Josephine were busy collecting Australian plants and kangaroos were hopping around the Palace gardens at Versailles. LOL . So interesting to go back in time. Viva La France!!

I used some of my stash for this page.
