Emma's Garden

Probably the last digging of the season...yet another garden being cut into the landscape of our new/old house. This one is my daughter's personal area, a place for vegetables, flowers, dogs and toddlers. My mind is already overflowing with ideas, but I'm keeping them to myself, at least for now. Everybody should have a garden of their own.

This is a template layout with two out of bounds images. I did them on the fly, by duplicating each photo above the frame, then using a hard round brush to sweep away all the unneeded parts of the images. Because I found some of the template's artistry to be a little too dominant in certain areas, I turned off all the layers and then selected only what worked with the other things on the page. For embellishment, I used elements from the Artplay Palette, as well as a few layers from a couple of the Multimedia Daisies. A lot of my faffing around concerned creating something that suggested earth to support the single flower stem. I used Threadz to support the concept of roots and growing.

Love this, the family that works together......I think that little fellow is about the cutest gardener and your gardens are flourishing. Cultivate on my friend.I like the stacked frame template.
Thanks so much, Pam!

Wow amazing layout, love those photos and how you framed them and I like the title with the paint behind it
That paint was a happy accident at the last minute, a leftover layer from a Multimedia Daisy I was moving off the page. When I saw how the paint looked left behind, I said..."ahhhhhhh"!

Fantastic framing. At first, I thought the top 3 were one photo. Just amazingly seamless. Love the OOB (especially the dog tail). The garden is beautiful too! UGH! So much work! Your ambition is admirable.

I like the arrangement of the photos from top to bottom and the OOB of Elioth's head and hat
Your journalling made me smile. Sometimes it's just hard to rein in your own views or idea (but wiser ;)).

It's more life therapy than ambition!
