Journaling:
On a field trip with the school-age class at daycare,
Emmelia had an opportunity to eat either a
chocolate-covered ant or a cheese-covered
larvae. She chose the ant and told me about
it that night - how she could taste it's legs and felt
as though one was stuck in her throat. Yes, it was
more than a bit gross! But I was so proud of her for
taking a risk and doing something like that - I'm
really not sure I could do it.
