I started with a solid white background paper and used a brush mask to clip the lined paper to, and reduced opacity to it blended into the background. Then I added a mask overtop, recolored to a purple grey tone and brushed it on, heavier in some spots than others. After adding photos, I added some paint splats, elements, squiggly line and then added my title. I used a texture brush (one of Anna's) to stamp across the large font to distress it. I finished off by adding a few more paint splats overtop, erasing off photos. I ran a saturation/contrast action, added an inverted mask to it and brushed overtop the elements in the upper right to make them stand out a bit more. I added thread and journaling along the top.
