Doro Wat

Layout for the Colour Challenge.
We lived in Ethiopia for a few years and we fell in love not only with the country and its people but also their national dish called Doro Wat. They use an aromatic spice mix called berbere - Each time I got off the plane I could smell the berbere in the air - probably my vivid imagination but....
The Doro Wat is accompanied by injera a sour dough type pancake which you scoop up food.
Oh, to taste that spice again....

Boy, does this bring back memories! We traveled to Ethiopia to adopt our son, and the taste of Doro Wat is still a vivid memory. Berbere is one fabulous spice! Your photos are FABULOUS! LOVE the mix of spices in the upper right. Beautifully done!
