There is a dirty little secret among women of "a certain age." It's not menopause that is such a big deal. It's perimenopause. That period before you complete menopause, which, apparently, can last for years. And I do mean years. I've been at this since I was 46. As I head towards 50, I live in fear that this aggravating time will never end. My mother says she had one bad cycle at 50 and then was done. Liar. My sister is still not done at 55.
I am so sensitive to smells I cant stand anyones perfume. If I get trapped on another elevator with a smoker, I cant be held responsible for the results. Consider yourself warned.
