Definitely one of my favorite places in San Diego, although I dont get out there that much. I guess it is just good knowing it is close by for me to escape to if I so choose.

The Process: I started with an Artsy Paper from the new AP Beach. I added the solid paper that had the blended shells, and used blend mode Multiply. I added the WaterColor FotoBlendz and then attached the photos to them. Because both photos were of a different darkness, the photo on the right was added to the FotoBlend which was put on blend mode Hard Light. I then duplicated the photo, and reduced its opacity just a bit. The photo on the right did not look right using the same method. For that photo I changed the FotoBlendz to the color white, and kept it on Normal, and then changed the photo to Hard Light. It was too washed or, so I duplicated the photo, and placed the upper photo layer on normal, but reduced the opacity to about 70%. I added a varity of transfers under the photos, and added additional transfers, spatters and artstrokes above. I added the loopdaloop, and then attached the dotted washi take to the tape that was there, using blend mode Linear Burn. It was too light, so I duplicated the tape 3 times to achieve the desired result. I placed the word strips, and edge overlay and finished up with the BigWord Discover which fit perfectly across the page.

***thanks for looking***
Love the big word dividing the page, and the perfect balance you achieved. Nice blending, framing, WA, loops....
