Digi Dare #138: The Centaur and the Goat

For Digi Dare #138 brought to you by Oscraps own TaylorMade Designs

I know this is sort of "out there", but I had written this poem which really applies to the dare and the page just flowed from there. The poem is blended into the background of the sky. There is also blending with several of the stars and paper clipped and blended to the characters.

The centaur and the goat sat down to dine.
It was supposed to be a long, leisurely dinner.
But life got in the way and things became too bitter.
The centaur kept leaving the table to attend to the stars;
The goat wouldnt speak and hesitated to try the new dishes.
Both of them sat there thinking about faded dreams and wishes.
The goat lost track of time and considered moving to a new table.
The centaur eventually got distracted by what other guests had to share.
The bull came charging up and offered new fare.
The centaur tried to shake his head and decline the offer.
But the bull persisted and the goat was apathetic towards the scene.
The centaur gave up and slipped some morsels under the table to eat.
So they sit, the centaur and the goat, sharing a table for two.
But the bull waits nearby, with new offerings for his friend,
And none of them know when the meal will end.
