Journaling:
One minute we were driving in sun on dry roads and the next in heavy snow over Berthoud Pass. By the time we got to Devil's Thumb Ranch we had to guess where the road was. Remember sinking into that leather couch by the fire, drinking coffee and waiting for our room.

I looked up this ranch and it looks so fun! what a great place to enjoy the winter! love the view of the horses! Not sure I would have liked the drive though. So often when I read your journaling it brings back memories of my time in CO - we often went over Berthoud Pass - gorgeous as always!

Glad you arrived safely. I don't much relish driving in those conditions. Wonderful capture of the horses in the snow and I love the transfer you chose for under the photo.
