My favorite guy surprised me with a long birthday celebration in Tucson. We met in Tucson a few decades ago. I was an English Major working as a bartender in a nice hotel and he was the Art Director at a local TV station. We visited a few of our favorite places, ate some killer Mexican food, enjoyed several margaritas. And stayed in a lovely hotel complete with a fireplace for those chilly nights. Right outside our room was an alcove with a sparkly fountain. We'd end our day drinking champagne by the fountain. Not my usual birthday celebration. But I sure had fun.
