Day 5_Favorite Ornament

This was an ornament I somehow acquired from my childhood Christmas decorations. I think it may have come from Denmark, my stepfather's home. We put it on our tree until we stopped putting up Christmas trees, and now one of my son's has it, and puts it on his tree every year.

Un joli petit ornement qui relie le pass au prsent. Belle histoire que celle de ce petit ornement.

Merci, Fanno! I am glad to be able to Google a translation of your comments! (For other non-French-speakers, what this translates to is: A pretty little ornament that connects the past to the present. Beautiful story that of this little ornament.)

Just love handed down ornaments. They give the tree so much more meaning. Love the stacked papers and snowflakes.

And a little ornament who connect english speaker with french one !
This is so marvelous !

How beautiful that your son now hangs him in the tree, so the memory remains intact.

Beautiful ornament ... Glad that your son continues the tradition ...
Love the typical Christmas colors on your page!
