Process notes: I began with a cardstock from APP Shine. I then added a photoblendz from Hipster Plume FotoBlendz No. 5. I changed the color of this clipping mask to a soft beige (a bit lighter than the cardstock color), because I knew I wanted to use blend modes for my photo. I added the photo, and attached it to the clipping mask. The first photo layer was placed on blend mode Color Burn. I then copied the photo, and the top photo was placed on blend mode Lighter Color I copied the photo on last time, and to this photo layer, placing it on blend mode Linear Burn, I used inverted masking to paint in just areas I wanted to intensify just a bit. The opacity of this layer was brought down to about 20%. I then began placing a number of transfers from APP Sunflower and APP Shine. I added the frame, and added the KrissKross Overlay. I added the title text, giving the text a very fine stroke in a color just a bit deeper than the font color, and added a very faint shadow. I added the crocheted flower, making sure it was placed under one of the transfers. I added the sun charm, placing it under the KrissKross Stitching, but masked out the portion that was over the charm, so it ended up looking like it was stitched through the ribbon portion. I then added the patternd paper from APP Sunflower, and using inverted masking technique, added a bit of the pattern to the lower left of the page. I then added the small circle pattern from CircleIT No. 2, placing it in various places on the paper, in a soft orange.I added the page info and was finished!!!

Fonts; Cereal, Eras Light ITC
Thanks for looking
Love this wonderful photo and the bright yellow color you used--it really conveys the sunshine--wish we had some here--it is grey, grey and rainy!

Wonderful photo treatment and I love how you stitched down the sun!

i get happy from the sunny colors too...love how you've captured the joy of childhood.
