Dads been gone 30 years, dying way too young, and I still miss him to this day. He was the one person I could talk to and know I was getting an honest answer based on love, even though at times I didnt like what he said.

Process Notes: After turning the Chatter background paper I placed a couple of transfers from the palette where I wanted to base my layout. I clipped my photo to the fotomask on Normal blend mode, duplicated the photo again with Screen mode at 22% opacity.

Underneath the transfer I placed a Chatter ArtsyTransfer recoloring parts of it from grey to yellow. Added stains, recoloring those from the Palette colors. I sandwiched the black frame in-between transfers, stains and word art under the photo.

From there I added Different Strokes, overlays from the palette to give it a messy look. I wanted these elements of the design to look like they were just thrown on the page. Still something was missing from the page until I placed the large yellow and white transfer underneath the photo taking the layout down the page.

I added the crayon shaving flower, threads, bookplate with the title and heart and called it a done deal.
