I duplicated my photo and on the bottom layer I created a mask with the toolkit brushes and clipped my photo to it. The top photo layer I added a frame overtop, erasing the spill out from under the frame. I used an acrylic toolkit brush to create the bits of blue sky. I added a bit of color pop to the area inside the frame (can be achieved with a soft light blend mode).
