Process

A solid paper from APP Meadow was used as the background. The cowboy boots were extracted with two custom shadows created, one behind the boots and the other at an angle, stretched and faded. Artsy paper 4 from APP Garland was clipped to the Cactus 2_2 png file. It was duplicated two times with the blending modes changed to linear burn and multiply. These layers were merged. The merged cactus was duplicated with the blending mode changed to hard light. The same process was applied to the Cactus 2_5 png file, but artsy paper 3 from APP Moorlands was used. After the layers were merged and duplicate, a color burn blending mode was applied. A warm fotoglow was placed behind the cacti plants with the blending mode changed to color burn. The flowers were created by using the red flower from MM Flowers 2 and a pearl from APP Barren Sunrise. The title was created by using various fonts and rotating them. A MM Sun was add (the foto glows were reduced in size and opacity). Word Art and embellishments were added to complete the page.
