My daughter and I connected over words that were used about us for mean and turned them into the funniest chapter of 2023 ever. I used Deadwood for the green paper, Pretty Ju Scrap Damask boarder blender to blend my photo to the background, Aloha Summer for one set of stitches and Timeless Treasure for the zig zag stitches. Personal photos.

THIS!!! Stopped me in my tracks!! The sentiment is Truth! The photo just oozes happiness and the viewer can feel every ounce of it. I love the joy in both your expressions. The stitching is the perfect emphasis for your sentiment too. You are so on the AJ train! Looks so good - keep going!!

Awwwww thank you. We were laughing so hard trying to hold wine glasses (New Years Eve) and show our temp tats. Who knew I had AJ in me. So thankful I jumped in and was able to swim and not sink.

Congratulations Tracy on the Standing O! This is a very powerful art journal page. Isn't it so interesting how life's journeys takes us.... if Scrap Girls had not closed you may not have discovered how talented you are in creating Art journal pages. Keep creating!

You are so right. I was willing to skip AJ at Scrap Girls. Never thought I would enjoy the artistic style of it but it has been a ton of fun.

Good for you and your daughter, Tracy - wonderful to turn negative into positive and to do it together. That's a beautiful photo of you two and for sure the resemblance is uncanny. Your laughs and connection show so strongly in the pic and made me smile. I like how you gave this photo the whole page - it deserves it and putting a quote in the middle in light text looks great. I really like your quote at the bottom, too. This page is so warm and loving it made me feel good. :beatingheart:

What an awesome page, Tracy! I love the photo of you and your daughter! The love you have for each other radiates from your amazing layout! I love all of the quotes you used and how you used these negative comments and made it a positive experience for you in your daughter, What a wonderful life lesson!
