My own Italian book scanned and some Venetian words taken from a paper bag.
Process
I started with an artsy paper, then importing my image I used a sketch watercolour technique. I also brought in scanned Italian travel book and placed this below my image. using blending modes on my duplicated sketch i made it slightly transparent so the words of the book showed through. from there I added brushes, stitches, papers and embellishments to make it look like an altered book.
