Moved by the #metoo hashtag on the internet that has women talking about their personal experiences with sexual harassment and assault, I made this composition from a 1930s photo, newspaper pages, and art-dolly-y flower costumes that I constructed by layering up various parts of the Artsy Flowers from the new set. The photo is blended into the Artsy Paper and Artsy Transfers are layered over that to even out the bottom of the layout and to give a surface to which to clip the newspapers. The little #metoo labels at the top are clipped to thin-strip Fotoblendz masks and tacked on with a row of stitches.
