Great Blue Herons can look so placid standing motionless watching for potential lunch to appear. However, they can take great exception to an interloper as did one at Lake Keystone in Oklahoma on Sept. 23.

Oh what a wonderful feisty moment to capture. Yes, they sometimes are so statuesque but get them riled and they are fierce. :) Beautifully created. I love the use of the stitching.
 
What great photos, blurry and all, they really catch the sense of motion and flight, super gorgeous colors on this as well!
