On August 2, 2017 I got in the car and headed north through Oregon and Washington, up to Spokane for a H.S. Reunion. I chose to drive because I wanted to do a few things along the way that I could not do if flying... One of those things was to visit my longtime friend and former Boss Bonnie Walker in Riddle Oregon, a little south of Roseburg., The lovely 7 Feathers Casino in located in nearby Canyonville and I decided to treat myself to a stay there and invited Bonnie to join me for dinner and conversation... The years are flying past and I wanted to see her at least one last time.. Hopefully there will be more visits, but no guarantees since she turned 90 in May and she is almost a 3 hour drive away...... That said I would love to stay at 7 Feathers again...
