I spent much of my spring and summer, working on my beloved backyard pond. While it has been through a number of revisions over the years, this year,I did it myself. There are still many things that need tweaked,especially in the upper pond, I am so proud of myself and relieved to see one chapter complete. The fish had to be moved twice during this project and that was a big worry for me... some are twenty years old.Nonetheless,I persevered and it pleases me as it nears completion. The lilies were out of the water as much as they were in the water, it seems, during the reno... It has been a big year for me... heart surgery and all... I am happy to be able to tell this little story and even happier that I have something lovely to view in my yard ..... makes morning coffee even tastier!!Now to finish the rest... I have learned a lot about myself and life during this process... one thing is I am grateful for the life I have been given!!
