My yellow Rhododendron is the first to bloom and it always makes me happy to see it. It reminds me that summer will soon be here!!

Process - opening my page with a plain paper from the APP Awaken I then added a transfer/overlay and clipped my photo to it. I then erased any hard lines from the photo with a brush from the same APP. I then added an ArtsyTransfer Pierian and placed it on the opposite side of the page. Needing something to fill up the middle of my page I used the Artsy Stains and did a colour overlay to match the blue in my photo, I added a Gaussian Blur filter to it to make it a bit softer looking. I then added another ArtsyTransfer and moved some of the layers around to suit my needs, changing the colour to match my flower photo. Then adding some texture to the paper I added the spackle and paper textures. Then touched up the page with a couple of DecoArt Brushes and changed the colours to match. Finishing off my page with a the dragon fly element and lacey ribbon placing them under the masked photo, also added the Scriptease Spring and placed those under the element layers to soften the appearance.
