Journaling: Every Saturday, from October through May, St. Petersburg has a huge Farmers Market. People come from all over the Tampa Bay area to shop and sell. Its quite a sight. Officially, the market opens at 9:30, but you should get there by 8:30 because some of the best items sell out fast. I love the flowers, fruits and local vegetables. There is a St. Petersburg co-op which operates out of the market, but its a bit far for me to drive every Saturday. When I can get there, I go, if only to people watch.

I have become fond of our locally grown food and try to buy things fresh whenever possible. Frest IS best!
