Its required by law in Texas to take pictures of the bluebonnets blooming especially If you have young children and/or pets. Not really, but you will be ostracized if you dont. But since Im a confirmed flower freak, this is never a problem for me. I take my annual photo-snapping pilgrimage to WildSeeds Farma farm that grows wildflower seeds to sell. Process notes:
I used the template as is, but with a few tweaks. I clipped the background photo to all the layers (except for the photo layers.) On the far background layers, I merged them, applied a paint dabs PhotoShop filter and reduced the opacity to 73%. I did slightly enlarge the four photo layers, because I love my bluebonnet goodness. Added the title and my duty to Texas was done. Oh, did you notice I caught a bee enjoying the bluebonnet too?
