I chose the photo, "Power house mechanic working on steam pump" (1920), by Lewis Hine. Even though I previously hadn't known or remembered his name before this Challenge, I immediately recognized many of his photographs of NYC workers and child laborers and the construction of the Empire State Building. This photo is almost something that could be seen in today's steampunk designs.
