Journaling reads: At first glance, it appeared to be just like any other 3rd world country. Two way traffic on one lane, pot-hole filled roadsdilapidated houses dotting the country sideand then I saw the first sunset. This was Jamaica. Amazing sunsets over the twinkling lights of Kingston. Gorgeous flowers blooming all over the mountain. Amazing children, forgotten by the rest of the world, but making something of themselves. THIS was Jamaica.
