I needed to have a photo and background paper picked out before I was able to work on my border. Just the way I roll. Wink I adore Maya's Zen kits, especially Zen and the Art of All Hallows Eve, so I looked for a photo that would work well in combination with them.Once I got the paper and the photo placed, I began creating the border. I started on the right side with the long border strip and worked my way around clockwise. I filled in empty spot with word strips and paint. The top border was originally red paper, but I used a black plastic style on it for more dimension.
