When I was paper scrapbooker, I would collect papers and ephemera to make art journals. Now, Angie Young's art has inspired me to begin a new art journal for the new year.
I love texture, so I mixed in some of Anna Aspnes' Art transfers. I think that I will be in Artsy heaven this year!
Journaling: Its amazing how fast I can lose myself! Last year, I was so busy trying to justify everything I was doing, I forgot to really look at what I was living. So, new year, new start! This year, I will put the focus back onto me, and not in a selfish way. I spend so much time making sure everyone else has what they need; so often, I dont have the energy to make sure I have what I need.
Goal: A Better Me
Plan:Make me a priority: Make sure I have what I need first, then worry about the next person. Keep myself healthy: Listen to my body when it is trying to tell me something. Spend time doing what I enjoy doing. Good start ... stay flexible ... enjoy the ride!
