'Surrender'

Journaling: Surrender. I have learned a lot this year about letting go and relinquishing unattainable control. Nowhere is this more true than with both sides of our family. It is no accident that we spread our wings and leave the nest when we grow up. We are not supposed to have the same opinions and mindset as our parents. But that doesnt mean we cant get together and celebrate the connection we have regardless of different, culture, generation and circumstance. The Thanksgiving planned for this day was replaced by a birthday celebration, in Mais absence, and Richard surprised everyone by handing out silver coin presents, in his own unique way, for missed birthdays throughout the year. 4 Dec 2016.
