Stepping outside late one afternoon at work last week for a bit of fresh air, I was greeted with this scene on the corner of the street. Always having my phone with me, I snapped the photo. APP Sky the Limit was perfect for the photo.

Photo: Mine
Fonts: Caferus Normal + Caferus Shadow
Process Notes: Using the paper with the sky across the top half, I placed the mask and clipped my photo to it after resizing the mask and frame a little bigger.
Taking transfers from the palette, I placed those underneath the mask and frame along the left edge of the page, blending them into the paper.
Before I added anything else to the layout, I wanted to create the title because I had a specific thing in mind. I wanted it to fade up into the sky amongst the transfers. Typing out the title, I used the gradient tool to fade the top portion of the word, then duplicated it and changed the font to the shadow version. Its not the way its meant to be used, but that wasnt important to me. I recolored each of the font layers with the colors of the underlying paper.
I got a couple of the cool glows, placing one under the photo and blending it to Pin Light and turning down the opacity and the other is above the photo in the layers panel, blended to Overlay at a reduced opacity.
Getting bits and pieces of the art stroke frames, I placed those over and under the photo and below the frame in the layers panel. I left all of those on Normal blend mode. Then using the star brushes from the palette, I positioned those around the frame, recoloring and resizing. I dont think I can create a layout without using some sort of stain, so using a color from the transfer, I stamped a stain leading from the transfer itself. After adding the word art between the frame and photo I called it finished.
