Last week, Emery was enjoying tummy time. This week, she decided it was time to sit up. On Wednesday, when I kept her for a few hours, I wasnt aware she could sit up by herself. I hadnt even seen her attempt it. I left her lying on the floor on a quilt next to her Elmo doll, took 5 steps to the kitchen to get her bottle, took 5 steps back and found her sitting up playing with Elmo! I was startled to say the least. Her Mom and Dad said she practiced the moves in her crib until 9:30 pm on Monday night when she managed to get herself upright, leaning forward with palms resting by her feet.
