Non Stop Puppy Rehab

Challenge #1 - One Little Word - August 2016 at Oscraps
https://ozone.oscraps.com/forum/showthread.php?p=522451#post522451
The Word for this challenge was "Activity" in reference to summer activities. Well, ya know, this summer wasn't much on typical summer activity, only taking care of my puppy who had Patellar Luxation Surgery in June. For lay people, her knee cap wouldn't stay in the joint so they had to scrape away bone in her knee to form an actual knee ridge for the patella to sit in. Then it is all held together by pins, plates and screws. Like humans who have knee surgery, she needs a lot of PT and since it is really hard to find one for dogs (not to mention the $$$!) I have become her Physical Therapist. Believe me there is a lot of "activity" in that.
Journaling reads:

1. Walks, lots of slow walks, no matter how hot it is.
2 Meds, thankfully covered in peanut butter and we are good to go
3. Muscle building exercise. I know, I hate doing it to you too..
4. Keeping track of it all
Photos are of her leash, some of her meds, and the chalkboard to help us keep it all straight! Plus the last picture is of Ravyn snuggling with her sister when she got home from the hospital and was having a hard time walking.

In the picture I see only a bracing moment, no just a little joke, i think it's a lot of activity for your poor little puppy wich had a surgery, hope she will recover really soon !

Ouch! You are so good to your pup, your love is evident in your constant care. This wonderful journal page just documents her recovery.

Wow! Your summer has definitely been trying with all the pt regime. I'm hoping it all pays off handsomely and Jaida will be fit and healthy at the end of all this. I love how the black background with the white and purple splattering in the back of photos, makes it seem like its a "white hole" in space that goes on and on into infinitely, relating to how I'm sure you've felt during this rehab. Good luck to Jaida and you! Wonderful documenting of this long, hot and productive summer.

Great page! Love the dark background and the orange flower ... I hope that the recovery goes as expected ...

Sweet, sweet, page. We had a terrier with Diabetes and had to give her daily shots, and watch her diet ever so carefully. Taking care of fur babies is a labor of love.
