these are photos of the Torghatten from the front and then looking out to where I would have taken that photo - they were taken by my DH - the climb was on the backside -
the Legend states that the troll Hestmannen wanted the beautiful girl Lekamoya but he could not catch her so he shot an arrow to kill her but the troll king of Somna threw his hat to block the arrow and it became the mountain with the hole - I really like this legend.
