Challenge #1 June 2016 - Journaling at Oscraps

The timing for this challenge couldn't have been better as my daughter's Senior year of High School wraps up. The prompt is to journal about a moment that made me feel proud. While she makes me so proud just by being "her," it was amazing to have the school recognize her too.
For the LO, I blended two papers from Sweet Lemon to get the color scheme to match her school colors. I can't have them be too girly, so I made sure that there was a bit of grunge to them. I also wanted the focus of the page to be the journaling, so I used a simple Urban Threadz frame.

Caitlyn, you have wanted to be a preschool teacher for several years now. This year, you were part of internship that ran a preschool, and you thrived. What an honor to hear your name called as the Senior who was awarded the Departmental Award in Consumer and Family Sciences. I know that you are and will continue to be an amazing teacher. It was a special moment for me to see the school recognize that as well.
