Oh how I wish I'd had a camera when I was a kid, in Calif, when we drove through the tree trunk. What fun memories you've reminded me of. I love the perspective with a vehicle and persons standing in the drive throughs. Beautiful blending.
For those who asked...hope you are linked to this thread... the tree is at Myers Flat on the California coast at the bottom of a road that runs through the Redwoods... There is another "drive through tree" further south a couple of hours that my family went to when the kids were little... I think it is called the Chandelier tree... this one is easily googled, by name... it is a nice place...They have play houses made from trees, and other things of interest... but no outdoors restrooms, and I have never been there when the store/restaurant was open... They leave the park open with a place to put your money... Need to add restrooms... we had to walk down to a neighboring business... I mean like we had been driving for hours!!!!
