Point Lobos P8

Almost done with Point Lobos, this was the end of the day/hike.

Using page 7 of Anna Aspnes WaterColor Template Album, I separated the FotoBlendz and the frames between the two pages. I duplicated one of the FotoBlendz masks to blend another photo into the center background (thus there are purple flowers growing on pine trees, but I'm going for effect, not precision :).

Other Supplies:
ArtPlay Palette Beach (transfers, elements) http://www.oscraps.com/shop/ArtPlay-Palette-Beach.html
ArtPlay Palette Oasis (background, recolored) http://www.oscraps.com/shop/ArtPlay-Palette-Oasis.html
ArtPlay Palette Ocean Cove (transfers) http://www.oscraps.com/shop/ArtPlay-Palette-Ocean-Cove.html

Although I try to be consistent when working in a series, I like to add a new APP or elements to each page for variety.
On this page I added Button Threadz No 1 (coming soon), See Word Art No 1 (coming soon) and ArtPlay Palette Niege (coming soon), plus word art from ArtPlay Palette Adventure http://www.oscraps.com/shop/ArtPlay-Palette-Adventure.html

I know the journaling is too small to read, so here it is:
I had read that the Point Lobos hike is a 4-mile loop, so I had made tentative plans to do other beaching on Saturday, but with all the side trails and loops and climbs down to the beaches, we clocked over 7 miles.
Gibson Beach marks the edge of the reserve. China Cove, the previous beach, was closed due to stairway damage. For this we were glad, for we were tired. But the Gibson Beach stairs were open, . Where there are stairs down to a beach, I must go, no matter how tired. It was worth it. If we had had a blanket, it would
have been the perfect spot for a nap.
Oooooh! That's a lot of beautiful flowers for February! What a climate!
